Stack Tower
Tap to drop. Miss a little and the next slab is smaller. How high can you go?
Play against a friend
Make a room, send the link, and build at the same time on the same speeds. Every third perfect in a row sends a gust to everyone else.
A slab slides back and forth above your tower. Tap to drop it. Whatever hangs over the edge of the slab below is sliced off and falls away, so every sloppy drop leaves you less to work with on the next one. Line it up almost exactly and nothing is cut — that is a perfect.
It starts slow and gets quicker with every floor, and the slabs come in from alternate sides so the rhythm never settles. String three perfects together and the slab starts growing back, which is how a tall tower stays possible. One run is a minute or two. The second one is the problem.
How it works
- Tap anywhere on the tower, or press Space, to drop the slab.
- Only the part that lands on the slab below stays. The overhang is cut off, so the next slab is narrower.
- Land within a hair of the slab below for a perfect: nothing is cut and you score a bonus that grows with each perfect in a row, up to +5.
- From the third perfect in a row, each perfect grows the slab back a little.
- Miss the tower completely and the run is over. Each floor is a little faster than the last.
Common questions
- How is the score counted?
- One point for every floor, plus a bonus for each perfect drop: +1 for the first in a row, +2 for the second, up to +5. A tower of perfects scores far more than the same height built from near misses.
- What counts as a perfect?
- Landing so close to the slab below that the difference is smaller than about a fortieth of the slab. The slab snaps into place and nothing is cut off. Three in a row and each further perfect also widens the slab a little.
- How does a race work?
- Make a room and send the link. Everyone builds at the same time, with the same speeds. Every third perfect in a row sends a gust of wind to everyone else, making their next two slabs move faster. The highest score once everyone has dropped their last slab wins.
- Can I pause?
- Yes, when playing alone: press P or the pause button, and switching tabs pauses it for you. In a race there is no pause, since everyone else keeps building.
- Is my score saved?
- Your best is remembered on this device. To put a tower on the shared board, press “Save & share” after the game and type a name. Nothing is saved anywhere unless you do.
A game, for fun. Scores on the board are whatever players saved, with no accounts and no checking beyond sane limits — a tower of a thousand floors is more likely a typo than a legend.
